From an early age I have been a keen artist and like most people would draw/paint people and objects that would interest me. Most of my source material would be found online and the process itself was pretty much limited and phased in and out of life. About 14 years ago now that change when I had the opportunity to complete my honours degree in Visual Art , something that had always been an itch I wanted to scratch. From that point I found a love of painting in oils while at the same time became slightly obsessed with painting objects that are either wrapped or partially covered in plastic whether it is bags, bubble wrap etc, I love the challenge of painting something that is transparent. This also changed my mindset to owning the whole artistic process from idea to completion which is where the photography came into play to produce the material I needed to paint.
